How to draw a more stylish flat doors and Windows

2018-04-04 04:48:45

When drawing architectural plans, doors and Windows are often drawn for the architectural plane, which are also commonly used graphic objects in architectural plans, and are often also defined as blocks for multiple use.

Tools/Materials

When drawing a flat door, because the size of the interior door is generally the same, it is only necessary to draw a flat door, and then use the command "move", "copy" and "rotate" to adjust it. The window plane is composed of four parallel straight lines, which is also relatively easy to draw.

Methods/Steps
1

1. Start AutoCAD, open the graphics file, enlarge the view to display the door opening on the left side of the building plane, and run the "straight line" command to draw a line 750 long vertically upward from the key point on the right side of the door.

2

2. Run the "Arc" command to draw an arc with the lower end of the line as the center of the circle, the upper end of the line as the starting point, and the middle point on the left side of the door as the end point. Then run the Copy, Rotate, Mirror, Line, Arc, and Move commands in sequence.

3

3. Click the "Commonly Used" TAB in the functional area, click the "Break" button in the "Modify" panel, move the mouse to the wall between the two red positioning axes on the right side of the plan, and click the left mouse button; In the dynamic input text box in the view, type "f" and press the [Enter] key on the keyboard to respecify the break point; Move the mouse to the intersection of the upper perimeter and the selected wall, and click the left mouse button to specify the first break point; Move the mouse to the point where the lower axis meets the selected wall, and click the left mouse button to specify a second break point.

4

4. After breaking the wall, delete the positioning axis, and then execute the "straight line" command to close the upper and lower openings of the window, and then draw a vertical line on the left side of the window; Execute the "offset" command, and copy the straight line drawn just now to the right for every 80 offset, a total of three copies, thus drawing the plane window composed of four parallel lines; Using the same method, execute the "Line" and "offset" commands at once to draw two flat Windows at the two window holes located below the floor plan.
